Our History
The Musical Comedy Guild was organized in June of 1962 with its first Excecutive being elected in September
of that same year. Under President Mary Jamieson, the Guild presented its first season, consisting of a spring
show ("H.M.S. Pinafore") and a fall show ("The Mikado"), a tradition which it would carry on for the next 40
years. To date, the Musical Comedy Guild has produced more than 80 productions and shows no signs of slowing down. As
a matter of fact, in it's 40th year the Guild increased the 2002-2003 season to four productions
by adding a "Cabaret Series" to its offerings!
